If a piece of equipment is unfamiliar they make the commitment to learn equipment and become competent in working on it.

In an era of doing as little as possible to fix a problem or “put a band aid” on a problem, they always get to the root cause of problem. With some problems being intermittent that can be challenging but they always over time find the core cause of the problem.
